Don L. Gaspár Ali, born on September 30, 19XX, as the son of a Congolese human rights activist who fled to Siegburg (Germany), is one of the initiators of the nationwide Black Lives Matter demonstrations in 2020 following the murder of George Floyd. He organized and led the historic demonstration at Berlin's Alexanderplatz, where he served as the main speaker, advocating for justice for all victims of violence and racism while protesting against anti-Black racism.

Shortly thereafter, Don L. Gaspár Ali joined the board of the Black Community Foundation (BCF) but left due to differing political views. In 2021, he founded his own political organization called the Organization for All African People's Unity (OAAPU).

Life

Early in his life, he lived with his single mother and seven siblings in Wuppertal. At nine, they moved to a socially neglected area at Kölnberg in Cologne-Meschenich. Growing up amidst 4,000 people from 60 nations, concrete, poverty, and crime,

Don L. Gaspár Ali observed the challenges faced by his acquaintances and friends, leading him to analyze the conditions and causes of his environment, inspiring his early writings.

At fourteen, he decided to pursue a better future for himself and his family, focusing on a career in professional football. He became captain of several Bundesliga youth teams, trained with Fortuna Düsseldorf's professional team at seventeen, and played for the Congolese national team.

Despite his football career, Don L. Gaspár Ali continued to pursue his creative passions, including theater lessons, interest in fashion, music, literature, and attempts at writing essays. As his athletic journey progressed, he realized that the dream of becoming a professional footballer no longer fulfilled him. Consequently, he terminated his football contract with Fortuna Köln in 2018 and moved to Berlin to focus on artistic expression and becoming a role model for younger generations.

Don L. Gaspár Ali's childhood, despite the family's precarious financial and social situation, was marked by numerous enjoyable dinners with music and intercultural dialogues. These memories inspired him to launch the event "Les Inferno" in 2019, transforming one of Germany's prestigious restaurants into a hub for the Berlin art scene.

Currently residing between Berlin, Cologne, and Switzerland, Don L. Gaspár Ali is working on his first book and delivers lectures on the history of anti-Black racism in various institutions and establishments.
